River Road Scenic Byway showcases all the AuSable River Valley has to offer. If Broadway = Theater and Rodeo Drive High Fashion and Jewelry, then Woodward = the Automobile. The Motor City, and in particular, Woodward Avenue, put the world on wheels. America's automobile heritage is represented along this byway in famed industrial complexes, office buildings, residential mansions, world-renowned museums, and cultural institutions. < /FONT >




Michigan Motorcycle Touring - Isle Royale National Park - Houghton, MI
Edisen Fishery is depicted with two boats at the dock and the fish house.  Isle Royale's physical isolation and primitive wilderness challenged human use for centuries; ironically today it has become the Island’s main attraction. Accessible only by boat or seaplane, visitors come to experience this island park through hiking its trails, paddling its inland waterways, exploring its rugged coast, or venturing into the depth of its shipwrecks.

Michigan Motorcycle Touring - Keweenaw National Historical Park - Calumet, MI

Native peoples made copper into tools and trade items. Investors and immigrants arrived in the 1800s in a great mineral rush, developing thriving industries and cosmopolitan communities. Though the mines have since closed, their mark is still visible on the land and people.
